Masilamani Nathar Temple

The 700 year old Masilamani Nathar Temple built in 1306 by the Pandya King Maravarmam Kulasekara Pandyan is unique in its architecture. It was built combining Chinese architecture with Tamil architectural technique, possibly in an attempt to attract Chinese merchants who were visiting India. It is in close proximity to The Bungalow on the Beach which is where the guests of the Gate House dine.
